Is True Love Feasible?
What is love? Do you think looking at someone and falling for the sight is love? Okay if that is the case than if you are not able to see the face or a person so you won't be in love anymore or if that's love then why do it fades with time. So this means love is something beyond looking and falling for a particular person. I have been questioning love since long and with every possible answer I was left behind with the question of why does it fade with time. Many among us define love as being happy around a particular person and call it love but you can't be happy around someone all the time you can easily get into the conflicts and so you say he/she is no more the same and suddenly you lose interest. Now you feel attracted to the other person and you enjoying and start being happy around the other person in the same way so do you think is this love? or no contrary they are just feelings that are changing? you think that he/she is your type, he/she will act the way you want and therefore you decide that we won’t fall in conflicts but the same happens after sometime with the other person nothing changes and the result is the same as earlier. So have you ever thought about the reason that why does this happens? Now think and decide do you love the person or are you in love with one of your thought or fantasy regarding relationships or love. So, is love shift-able? If so, have you ever changed your parents once you get offended by the way they treat you or have you ever left them for not acting the way you want them to act. Think and decide. People think looking into someone's eyes once and feeling good around a person for a couple of months or days is love but we forget that we have a selfish desire from that particular person and that selfish desire is named as LOVE. This is the focal point of the problem; this selfish desire is what has destroyed the essence of love. You feel attracted to someone's smile, or sitting and talking with someone gives you butterflies, or lets get closer, the sensations of the other person blinds you for a while and you start calling it love. Damn! No, that is not love. Love is something beyond me and you, mine and yours, trust and loyalty and everything. It's the feeling of oneness and this fondness of oneness is love. When you consider the other person as you, as part of you is love. People say where there is no trust there is no love but it is not something theoretical but experiential. You have to experience the oneness to understand what is love you cannot know about love by studying a book or reading a good quote. Trust is a whole different term and so is loyalty they can be part of love but they cannot be love. You do not opt to trust in love but in a relationship you are we all have been confusing the relationships with love. A person in love can be in a healthy relationship but a person in a relationship is never necessarily in love. Relationship is responsibility you have to draw the lines there and anyone who among partners cross the line they should be punished and that's important but that is not love. Love has nothing to do with the selfish desire. As mentioned earlier, love is oneness. You punish your teeth for harming your tongue. No you can't either. You will bear the pain without punishing your teeth and after some time you with both the parts of the body are still the same. That's oneness and that's where you will know what love is. Love is looking at someone and you are drown into the situation timelessly you have been with the person for hours and it seems few seconds to you (here the time in psychological aspect not the physical time) the time wont stop but for you it has been stopped you are stunned and pleased but this feeling does not only resides when you recently have been with someone but even after 20 years the feelings are same because you are not in love with any of your thought or any of your perfection list in your mind regarding the same person but with the person as you. Love has nothing to do with hate and you will know this once you have experienced true love you can get hurt by the person his/her attitude or the way they treat you but you can never hate him/her for his/her actions and that's the true essence of love. In love you never ask someone for trust, because you can't distrust yourself and loving someone becomes a part of you. So you are tend to trust the situation by looking into the mirror and asking can I be guilty for the same kind of mistake if the answer is yes so the conflict ends there if I can so how can I question the person I love for the same action and if the answer is no so still everything is finished if I can't do that how can my partner do that and I guess here already I have hit the heart. This is what I call love or this is what love in true terms is. We have heart breaks because we never were in love we are lonely because the person we were involved in was never the one we have loved. Love is not something temporary if you have ever loved someone you will never be able to get over them and if you get over them this simply means you never was in love. getting over a person you say you love can never be named as love. That can be called any feeling or emotion but not love because emotions and feelings change with time but love is permanent and is independent of time, change, situation and every theoretical term.
